Today the trio will again loom as key players on a day when a football game stops a nation.

The Eagles have finally made it through to the Super Bowl at the fourth time of asking having lost three heart breaking AFC championship games in the quest of that first franchise title in 44 seasons. Having recruited Terrell Owens to get them over the hump, many thought their hopes and dreams were shattered when Owens suffered a season ending leg injury. Owens has recovered, while not cleared medically the Wide Receiver has declared himself available for the big one.

With or without Owens the Eagles will be a major threat to the hopes of a Patriot dynasty. While the city of Philadelphia went nuts with the victory over the Atlanta Falcons the players had their eyes firmly on the prize ahead. Will it be their destiny to win first up after three consecutive losses in the NFC championship game or will the legend of the Patriots grow stronger?
