It is perhaps most famous as the place where Pelé, the best footballer to ever live, displayed his awe-inspiring skill. The stadium has a seating capacity of over 20,000, although record attendance at the facility was almost 33,000 in 1964. Santos - 2007/2008 Season Santos has been a force to be reckoned with since the start of the millennia, winning the Serie A championship in 2002 and 2004, while finishing no worse than 10th in five years.
