The Philadelphia Eagles remain the team to beat in the NFC even with the added distraction of Terrell Owens' future undecided. The star wide receiver has stated he will report to training camp from Monday but he still believes his current contract with the Eagles should be upgraded.

Owens' agent Drew Rosenhaus is after an improvement on the seven-year deal worth just under $49 million. Owens is in the second year of that contract and is expected to earn $3.25 million this season.

Owens will avoid a fine of $6,000 per day by reporting to training camp. Meanwhile, his agent is asking for permission to seek a trade elsewhere suggesting an unhappy Owens is likely to be a disruptive influence at training camp while the Eagles are standing firm denying Rosenhaus permission to seek a trade.
