Borghi is an ex Argentinean footballer who played for a variety of top clubs, including AC Milan, River Plate, Independiente and Colo-Colo. He also made an appearance for Argentina’s national side in the 1986 World Cup in Mexico. He joined Colo-Colo as coach in 2006, leading the team to both the Clausura and Apertura in the same year, as well as the Copa Sudamericana final.
