Board
The communal cards on the table.
Blind Bet
A "Blind Bet" is a forced bet that is taken before the cards are dealt - made instead of an Ante. It is posted by the two Players to the left of the Dealer. A "Small Blind" is placed by the Player to the Dealer's left. The "Big Blind" is placed by the Player left of the Small Blind.
Flop
The first three communal cards dealt.
Hole Cards
The two cards that are dealt face-down to each player (also called "pocket" cards)
Turn
The fourth communal card dealt.
River
The fifth and final, communal card dealt.
Puck/buck/button
A moving disc which indicates the Dealer, and moves in a clockwise direction.

Omaha Terminology
Blind Bet
A "Blind Bet" is a forced bet that is placed by each player in turn before the cards are dealt. In Omaha it is posted by the two players to the left of the Dealer. A "Small Blind" is placed by the Player to the Dealer's left. The "Big Blind" is placed by the Player left of the Small Blind. As the Dealer button moves, so do the blinds.
Flop
The dealing of the first three communal cards.
Turn
The fourth communal card dealt
River
The fifth, and final, communal card dealt
Puck/buck/button
A moving disc which indicates the Dealer, and moves in a clockwise direction.

7-Card Stud Terminology
Ante
The minimum amount to be placed on the table by each player before cards are dealt and betting begins.
Bring-in
A forced beginning bet required from the player with the lowest value exposed card.
Door Card
The first face-up card dealt to each player.
Fifth Street
The fifth card dealt to each player, which is followed by the third round of betting.
Fourth Street
The fourth card dealt to each player, which is followed by the second round of betting.
Live Cards
Cards that are hidden, but still in play.
River
The final face-up card dealt. Also known as Seventh Street.
Seventh Street
The final card dealt to each player, followed by the final round of betting.
Sixth Street
The sixth card to be dealt to each player, followed by the fourth round of betting.
Street
The name for the various stages of betting and receiving cards. The first three cards are dealt simultaneously at the beginning of the hand, betting is said to start at 3rd Street, and continues to 7th street.
Third Street
The first round of betting after all players have received their first 3 cards - hence "Third Street".

Ante

Bring-in
A forced opening bet required from the player with the lowest value exposed card.
Door Card
The exposed card (face-up) in each player's hand.
Fifth Street
The fifth card dealt to each player.
Fourth Street
The fourth card dealt to each player.
Live Cards
The face-down cards that are in the hands of the players who are still active in the game.
