Rules of Play
  • "American Football" includes NFL, College, Canadian (CFL), NFL, Europe and Arena Football;
  • "Official Result" shall be the result as determined by the official governing body for the sport;
  • "Own Goals" are goals placed accidentally by the opposition for the other team;
  • "Point Spread" means a wager on a team to win with handicaps applied. To even the match for wagering purposes the favourite (indicated by a negative points handicap) gives the underdog (indicated by a positive points handicap) a points start. At the end of the game/half, the relevant handicap is added to, or subtracted from, the teams’ scores in order to determine the point spread result;
  • "Pick games" mean games in which teams are deemed to be evenly matched, and therefore no point spread applied;
  • "BST" means British Summer Time.
1. American Football
1.1 All bets shall be settled on the official result, including overtime, as determined by the American Football governing body.
1.2 At least 55 minutes of play must take place for bets on that particular match to stand. Should 55 minutes of play not take place at the time that the match is completed all bets on that match will be void, unless an official result is declared or the outcome of a bet has been unconditionally determined.
1.3 The following rules shall apply:
1.3.1 Half Time/Full Time Double bets. All bets are based on the result at the end of the First Half, and the end of the game, including overtime.
1.3.2 Quarter Time bets. Overtime does not count for Quarter Time (4th Quarter) wagering.
1.3.3 Outrights / Future bets. In the event of a College Conference not having a Championship deciding game, the winner of the Conference shall be determined by the NCAA’s countback procedure.
1.3.4 NFL Regular Season Wins. All teams shall play 16 regular season games for bets to stand. In the case that the team does not play 16 regular season games, bets on that team shall be void. In the unlikely event of a drawn match, the tie will be considered as a loss when determining the number of Regular Season Wins.
2. Athletics
2.1 All bets shall be settled on the podium position result, regardless of any subsequent disqualifications.
2.2 In the event that there is no podium ceremony, all bets shall be settled on the result immediately declared by the official International Association of Athletics Federation (I.A.A.F.), irrespective on any subsequent enquiry.
2.3 If a track or field event is cancelled for any reason prior to the event, all bets will be void.
2.4 Unless otherwise stated, bets are accepted on an "All in compete or not" basis, and if an athlete is withdrawn before they have taken part in the event in any way whatsoever, your bet is a loser.
2.5 In instances where an event is advertised as a "Non Runner Non Bet" event, stakes will be refunded on an athlete withdrawn prior to the start of an event. Tattersalls' Rule 4(c) may be applicable to winning bets.
2.6 Total medal tally will be determined by the officially published IAAF results.
3. Australian Rules Football
3.1 All bets shall be settled on official AFL result only.
3.2 All Australian Rules bets shall be settled on 80 minutes play, unless otherwise stated.
3.3 If the game results in a draw, dead heat rules shall apply.
3.4 If a match is abandoned before 80 minutes are played, all bets on the match are void, except for those markets which have been unconditionally determined.
3.5 If a match is postponed and rescheduled to take place within 48 hours of the original start time, all bets on the match will stand.
3.6 If a match is no longer playing at the venue advertised, all bets will stand unless the venue has been changed to the opponent’s home ground, in which case all bets will be void.
3.7 Minor Premier handicap, the team with the most premiership points at the conclusion of the home and away season with the stated point’s handicap applied. In the case of two or more teams being equal; dead heat rules will apply (percentage will not be used as a decider). The market will be settled at the conclusion of Round 22.
3.8 AFL Regular Season (22 Rounds) Head to Head. Winners determined by official AFL ladder standings at end of Regular Season (22 rounds).
4. Baseball
4.1 All bets shall be settled on the official result as declared by the baseball governing body.
4.2 Las Vegas rules, regulations, payoffs and wager types apply where not covered herein.
4.3 If an event is postponed or rescheduled to take place more than 12 hours after the original start time, all bets will be void. In instances where the event is rescheduled to take place within 12 hours of the original start time, all bets will stand.
4.4 In the event that a game is "called" or suspended, winners and losers for betting are official after at least 5 full innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4½ innings. In the event that a games is "called" or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning, unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner shall be determined by the score at the time the game is called. Please note that suspended games do not carry over. All 4½ innings wagers are automatically specified, as "Listed pitchers must start".
4.5 The following rules shall apply:
4.5.1 Match Bets. All match bets shall include extra innings if played, unless otherwise stated.
4.5.2 Listed Pitchers. All baseball betting is offered on the basis of both listed pitchers starting the game. Both named pitchers must start the game and throw at least one pitch for bets to stand. If either named pitcher fails to start the game for any reason, bets on that game shall be void. It is the player’s responsibility to ensure that they are aware of any relevant pitcher changes.
4.5.3 Total and Run-line Betting. When betting on total runs (Under/Over) or run-lines, the game must go to 9 innings (8½ if the home team is ahead) for the bets to stand. Thereafter, in the event that the game is "called" or suspended, the score shall be determined after the last full inning unless the home team scored to tie or take the lead in the bottom half of the inning in which case the score is determined by the score at the time that the game is "called" or suspended. In the event that the listed pitchers do not start, the bet is void.
4.5.4 MLB Regular Season Match-ups. Each team must play 160 regular season games for the bet to stand. If a team does not play 160 regular season games, bets on that team shall be void. Head to head bets will be determined by the team winning the most games during the regular season. In the event that both teams win the same amount of games during the Regular Season, the winner shall be determined by the Official Standings on MLB.com.
4.5.5 Acceptance of Bets. Baseball bets shall be accepted in the following manner, where each team’s starting pitcher shall be the pitcher that throws the initial pitch"
4.5.5.1 Action. Team against Team, regardless of the starting pitcher.
4.5.5.2 One Specified Pitcher. A bet on or against one specified pitcher, regardless of the other starting pitcher. The Specified pitcher must start or the bet shall be void.
4.5.5.3 Both Specified Pitcher. A bet that specifies both starting pitchers. If any variation occurs that bet shall be void.
4.5.6 In the event of pitcher(s) changes prior to the start of a baseball game, odds shall be adjusted. If one of the scheduled pitchers starts against an unscheduled pitcher, "action" and live "one specified pitcher" bets shall be computed at the opening price established with the new pitcher.
4.5.7 World Baseball Classic Rules
Bottom team listed does not necessarily bat last.
Games will end early if a team is leading by 10 or more runs after the opposing team has batted in at least 7 innings OR if a team is leading by 15 or more runs after the opposing team has batted in at least 5 innings. If this happens, all bets have action (including run line and total).
5. Basketball
5.1 Bets shall be settled in accordance with the official result declared by the basketball governing body, at the end of the game after regular time, regardless of any subsequent amendments to the official result.
5.2 Unless otherwise stated, overtime shall count for all markets.
5.3 For bets to stand at least 43 minutes of play must elapse for NBA and NBL games, 35 minutes of play must elapse for NCAA games, and the game must have reached the end of normal time for all other competitions. In the event that the game is abandoned before 43 minutes of play is completed, all bets shall be void except for those markets which have been unconditionally determined. In the event that an official result is declared, then all bets shall stand.
5.4 Sportsbook shall reserve the right to suspend any or all betting on a game at any time without notice.
5.5 The following rules shall apply:
5.5.1 Point Spread. In the event that scores are level after accounting for the handicap, a "push" results. Overtime shall count for both Full Game and Half-time (2 nd half) bets.
5.5.2 Totals. In the event that the combined scores of both teams equals the total line exactly, a "push" results. Overtime shall count for both Full Game and Half-time (2 nd half) bets.
6. Boxing
6.1 The official start of the fight is deemed to be when the bell is sounded for the beginning of the first round.
6.2 All bets shall be settled in accordance with the official result declared by the official governing body immediately after the end of the fight. Any subsequent appeals or amendments to the result will not be taken into account for settlement purposes.
6.3 If an event is postponed or rescheduled to take place more than 30 days after the original start time, all bets will be void. In instances where the contest is rescheduled to take place within 30 days of the original start time, all bets will stand.
6.4 In the event that the contest is declared a draw, bets on the draw will be successful, while bets on either fighters are losers. If the wagering offering includes only the two contestants, with either the draw not offered, or offered as a separate proposition, and the match ends in a draw, bets on either contestant will be refunded.
6.5 The following rules shall apply:
6.5.1 Contestant replaced. In the case of one of the contestants being replaced by a substitute, bet on the original bout will be void.
6.5.2 Failure to come out for a round. All outright bets on the match will stand. However, round by round bets will be void.
6.5.3 Change to scheduled number of rounds. In the event that a fight is stopped before the full number of rounds has been completed, or if a boxer is disqualified and a points decision is awarded, bets will be settled on the round in which the fight was stopped.
6.5.4 To win on points. Bets which nominate "to win on points" shall only be declared winners if the full number of rounds has been completed.
6.5.5 Total Number of Rounds. For settlement purposes, where a half round is stated then 1 minute 30 seconds of the respective round will define the "half" in the determining of under or over for fights contested over "3 minute rounds". For fights contested over "2 minute rounds", then 1 minute will define the "half" in the determining of under or over.
7. Cricket
7.1 The following rules shall apply for all bets placed on the Canbet.com Sports pages:
7.1.1 Limited Overs Matches. In the event that a one day match or Twenty20 is shortened by the weather, the outcome shall be that determined by the official competition rules. In the event that the match is declared a no-result, all bets on the result of the match shall be void. In the event that the match is declared a draw, all bets on the result of the match shall be void. When the number of overs is reduced from 20, all bets on that innings will be void.
7.1.2 Test Matches. In the event that a minimum of one ball has not been bowled, all bets shall be void. In the event of a tie, all bets on the result of the match shall be void.
7.1.3 Top Batsman. Top Batsman bets are for first innings only unless otherwise specified. In the event that a bet is placed on any player not in the starting 11, such bets shall be void. Bets on players who are selected but who do not bat, shall be settled as losers.
7.1.4 Most Sixes. In the event that a One Day match or Twenty20 match is shortened by the weather, but the match is completed, all bets on Most Sixes Market will be void.
7.2 The following rules shall apply for all bets placed on the Canbet.com Exchange pages:
7.2.1 Commissions shall be charged on the basis of the net winnings of each player in each particular market for all bets placed on the Exchange. Click here for more on Canbet Cricket Commission.
7.2.2 In order to allow for the toss, all match markets shall be turned "in-running" or suspended thirty minutes before the scheduled start time. See market rules for exact details on individual matches and outright market rules.
7.2.3 In the event that no ball has been bowled, all bets shall be void.
7.2.4 In the event of a change of venue, bets shall be void if the new venue is the home ground of the original away team.
7.2.5 In the event that a match is affected by weather, or shortened for any other reason, match results shall be settled by the official result. This shall include matches settled by the Duckworth-Lewis method.
7.2.6 In-Running Markets. Match markets shall be suspended or turned "in running" approximately thirty minutes before the scheduled start time. When a player is accepting an existing offer in an "in-running" market, there will be up to a 5 second delay between the time that the member confirms the bet, and the time that it is entered into the system.
7.2.7 Limited Overs Matches. All bets shall be void, except for those that have been unconditionally determined if the official result is a tied match in any Test, County or Limited Overs match. In the event of a match being decided by a bowl-off or toss of the coin, all match odds bets shall be void, unless market information states otherwise.

For matches scheduled to a reserve day, bets placed after 45mins prior to the original scheduled start of play on the first day shall be void, unless such markets have been unconditionally determined.
7.2.8 Test Matches. At least one ball must be bowled for bets to stand. In the event of a tie, all bets on the match outcome shall be void. Innings runs and Batsmen markets shall be settled at the completion of each innings.

For matches scheduled to a reserve day, bets placed after 45mins prior to the original scheduled start of play on the first day shall be void, unless such markets have been unconditionally determined.
7.2.9 Batsmen Markets. In the event that any player named in any "Top Team Batsman" market is not chosen to play, all bets in that market shall be void. If any player chosen in the starting eleven does not bat, he will be deemed to have scored zero. If any player retires and does not resume his innings, his score shall stand.

At least one ball must be bowled while a batsman is at the crease (facing or not) for "Batsmen runs" bets to stand.
7.2.10 Number of runs per innings. The result of this market shall be determined by the total number of runs scored by a team in the course of an innings.

Any reduction in the number of overs shall void all bets placed prior to the reduction. If a new market is offered based on the reduced number of overs, any subsequent bets shall stand provided there is no further over reduction.

Bets on Highest 10 over Total partnership shall also be void if Duckworth-Lewis is employed before these markets have been unconditionally determined.

First innings runs bets shall be settled upon being unconditionally determined and are unaffected by any subsequent abandonment in the second innings or tie.

For test matches, total innings runs are based on at least 20 overs being faced. If less than 20 overs have been bowled in an innings, bets on "innings runs" in that innings will be void unless the team has been dismissed (i.e. bets have been unconditionally determined).

Time penalty runs are not relevant for the purpose of settling innings runs.
8. Cycling
8.1 Race or Stage bets shall be settled on the result of the podium presentation.
8.2 In the event that there is no podium presentation, bets shall be settled on the result immediately declared by the official governing body, irrespective of any subsequent enquiry.
8.3 All outright winner or stage winner bets on individual riders will be void in the event that the individual rider fails to start the competition or stage. However, bets will stand in the event that the rider withdraws once the competition or stage has started.
9. Darts
9.1 A darts match is deemed to have started once the first dart is thrown in the first leg of the first set.
9.2 In the event that a player fails to start a tournament or match, all bets on that player or individual match shall be void.
9.3 In the event that a player withdraws or is disqualified before a match is completed and the match has already started, the player progressing to the next round shall be considered the winner. In the event that the match has not started, all bets shall be void.
9.4 All Correct Set bets shall be void in the event that the statutory number of sets is not completed.
10. Formula One
10.1 The following rules shall apply:
10.1.1 Race Betting. Race bets shall be settled on the result of the podium presentations. A driver shall be considered a "runner" providing he appears on the grid prior to the race warm up lap.
10.1.2 Championship Betting. All bets shall stand on all drivers and manufacturers whether they compete on not. Bets shall be settled in accordance with the official result given by the governing authority.
10.1.3 Race Head to Heads (Match bets). The winner of a race head to head shall be the driver with the higher finishing position, or the driver who completes the most laps. In the event that the two drivers retire on the same lap, bets shall be void.
10.1.4 Qualifying Match Bets. The driver achieving the faster official qualifying time shall be deemed the winner. In the event that either driver fails to start a lap in the official race qualifying session, all bets on that match shall be void.
10.1.5 To be Classified. The official FIA classifications shall be used when settling this market. Drivers who complete 90% of the number of laps completed by the winner of the race shall be classified by the FIA, and shall be settled as winners.
10.1.6 Number of Race Leaders. The driver who is the forward most car (normally Pole Position) on the grid at the start of the race shall be deemed the race leader. Subsequent to the start of the race, any other driver who crosses the Start/Finish line as the first car on the road shall be deemed the race leader.
10.1.7 Finish In the Points / On the Podium. These markets shall be offered as win only and shall be settled based on the result at the time of the podium presentation regardless of subsequent disqualifications and/or appeals.
10.1.8 Fastest Lap. Bets shall be settled on the official FIA result, as at the time of the podium presentation.
10.1.9 Other events. Betting on other motor racing events shall be subject to rules equivalent to those rules stated herein where appropriate.
11. Golf
11.1 In the event that a tournament is affected by bad weather, bets shall be settled on the official result regardless of the number of rounds played.
11.2 If the player starts a round and subsequently retires, the player shall be counted as a runner and all bets shall stand.
11.3 In the event that a tournament is abandoned:
11.3.1 In the event that less than 36 holes have been played, all bets shall be void.
11.3.2 In the event that at least 36 holes have been played, all bets shall stand.
11.3.3 In the event that the scheduled number of rounds has not been completed, all wagers accepted after the last completed round shall be void.
11.4 Unless otherwise stipulated, in the event that an event is tied ("Dead Head" result), and a price for a tie has not been offered, dead heat rules will apply.
11.5 The following rules shall apply:
11.5.1 Tournament Group Betting. If one of the players in a group does not tee off in the tournament, any bets placed on that particular player shall be void. In the event that a player has placed a winning bet on other players in that Group, the Sportsbook shall apply the equivalent to a Tattersalls’ rule 4(c) to your winnings, based on the price of the player withdrawn.
11.5.2 Tournament Match Betting. All bets shall be settled on the player winning the trophy. In the event that a tournament is reduced from the scheduled number of holes, any outright bets placed after the final completed round shall be void. Any bets placed before the final completed round, shall be settled on the official result published by the official governing body immediately after the match/competition is completed. Any subsequent corrections or amendments to this result shall not apply for settlement purposes.
11.5.3 72 hole Head-to-Heads. Winner decided upon most holes completed by each player,* followed by best score between each player.If one player misses the cut his opponent is deemed the winner. If both players miss the cut the lower score wins. Unless the tie is offered as a third option, if both players have the same score, dead heat rules will apply. *Both players must tee off and each complete at least 36 holes for bets to stand.
11.5.4 18 hole betting. Winner decided upon most holes completed by each player (excluding play-offs). If they are equal on holes, the best score wins. Both players in the two ball (or all players in the three ball or group) must tee off for bets to stand. A player is deemed to have played once he or she has teed off. If a tie is not offered and both players in the two ball have the same score, dead heat rules apply. Dead heat rules apply to three ball / group betting if a tie is not offered.
11.5.5 Top 3, 4 or 5 versus the Field. The field shall include any other player in the field other than those specified in the Top 3, 4 or 5. Should any of the Top 3, 4, or 5 fail to start the tournament, all bets shall be void.
12. Ice Hockey
12.1 All Ice Hockey games shall be considered official after fifty-five (55) minutes of play.
12.2 Any games lasting under official time shall constitute a "Push" and all bets shall be void.
12.3 Games must take place on the site and date scheduled unless otherwise specified.
12.4 Settlement will be based on either Regular Time (after fifty-five (55) minutes of play) or may include Overtime and Penalty Shootouts – as specified on the website. It is the responsibility of each player to review the market information displayed on the website prior to placing a bet. Dead Heat rules apply.
12.5 In the event of Penalty Shootouts, the winner shall have one goal added to their score at the completion of the shootout to determine the final score of the game.
12.6 Las Vegas Rules shall apply for any rules not specifically mentioned herein.
13. Motor Racing
13.1 The signal to start the warm-up lap shall be deemed the start of any motor race.
13.2 In the event that a driver is not on the grid for the warm-up lap, or ready to start from the pit lane, all Head to Head bets involving that driver shall be void.
13.3 Bets shall be settled on the result of the podium presentation, regardless of any subsequent disqualifications.
13.4 In the event that a race is abandoned, and no official result is declared, all bets on that race shall be void.
13.5 The following rules shall apply:
13.5.1 Outright Betting. All bets shall be deemed "all in", as such, no refund shall be given if a driver does not start a race. Furthermore, in the case of NASCAR Championship betting, no refunds shall be given if a driver does not qualify for the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
13.5.2 Race Head-to-Head Match ups. In the event of race head-to-head match ups, all drivers involved in the match up must start, otherwise all bets shall be deemed void.
13.5.3 Season Head-to-Head Match Ups. In the event of season head-to-head match ups, all drivers involved in the match up must start in at least 32 races, otherwise all bets shall be deemed void. In the case of NASCAR Season Head-to-Head match ups, the results shall be determined by the Official Standings as published by NASCAR.com.
14. Novelty, Entertainment & Election Betting
14.1 Victorian Wagering & Betting Licence (2012 Victorian Retail Wagering Licence)
14.1.1 Dead Head rules apply in the event that multiple licences are awarded, or in the event that a joint venture is awarded.
14.1.2 All bets are accepted on an "All-in compete or not" basis, and if a party is withdrawn before they have taken part in the event, or does not partake, in any way whatsoever, your bet shall be deemed a loser.
14.1.3 All bets shall be settled on the result of the successful applicant to operate the Victorian Wagering and Betting Licence post 2012, as determined by the Minister for Gaming, or appointee.
15. Racing
15.1 The following rules shall apply for Racing in the United Kingdom & Ireland:
15.1.1 Ante Post Betting. Ante Post betting shall cease at 10.30am BST on the day prior to the event. Bets placed prior to this time are accepted on an "all in, run or not" basis where those selections not taking part in the event are considered losers. Unless otherwise stipulated, Ante Post wagers are settled in accordance with the Rules of Racing.
15.1.2
 Non-Runners. Bets placed after 10.30am BST on the day of the overnight declaration stage are accepted on a "no runner no bet" basis where bets shall be refunded in the event that the selection does not contest in the event. Tattersalls Rule 4 deductions may apply to winning wagers as per the following table:

In the event of there being two or more withdrawals in one event, the total deduction shall not exceed 90%.

In the event that a Greyhound is withdrawn, all fixed odds bets placed prior to the withdrawal will be settled at SP+. All bets on Greyhounds are accepted on the Trap Numbers only.
15.1.3 Abandonments, Postponements and Re-Run Races. In the event that a race programme for the day is abandoned or postponed, all bets placed on that programme after 10.30am BST on the day of the overnight declaration stage shall be void. In the event of a "major race" being postponed, Canbet shall reserve the right to determine that bets accepted after 10:30am BST on the day of the overnight declarations shall stand until such time as that race is run. In the event that a race is re-run, betting in the first race shall rule settlement, and horses which ran in the first race but did not start in the second shall be considered losers.
15.1.4 Walkovers. In the event of a Walkover, all bets on that particular race (other than Ante-Post bets) shall be void.
15.1.5 SuperPrice / SP+ in decimal odds.
15.1.5.1 Win and Eachway Bets. Bets are guaranteed to be paid a return equal to or greater than the return at official Starting Price odds. For Eachway bets, the number of runners that actually started in the race shall determine the settlement of the place portion of eachway wagers. The following shall govern settlement of the place part of eachway bets:

  • Handicap of 16 or more runners:
    		•  1/4 odds for the first four places
  • Handicaps of 12-15 runners:
    		•  1/4 odds for the first three places
  • All other races of 8 or more runners:
    		•  1/5 odds for the first three places
  • All races of 5,6 or 7 runners
    		•  1/4 odds for the first two places
  • All races of less than 5 runners:
    		•  All place stakes will be treated as win stakes
    15.1.5.2 Forecasts / Tricasts (Exotics) bets. Exotic bets are guaranteed to be settled at a return greater than the return declared by the CSF or BAGS/BEGS F/C.
    15.1.5.3 Place Only bets. Place wagers are guaranteed to be paid at better than:
    • The official dividend declared by the UK Horse Race Totalisator Board for UK racing.
    • The dividends declared by the Hong Kong Jockey Club for Hong Kong Racing.
    • The dividends declared by the South African Totalisator for South African Racing.
    In the event that there are insufficient starts for a place dividend to be declared by the relevant Totalisator, or in the event that a Place Pool is not offered, all Place Only bets shall be void.
    15.1.5.4 Forecast Bets.
    • Forecast bets shall be void in the event that one of the two selections in the combination does not run, or in the event that less than 3 runners take part in the event.
    • In the event that no CSF or BAGS/BEGS forecast is returned, bets shall be settled by reference to the N.S.L. Straight Forecast Chart.
    • In the event of a selection finishing alone, a forecast dividend with any other runner will be declared.
    15.1.5.5 Tricast Bets
    • In the event that a Tricast is accepted on a race for which no Tricast dividend is declared, settlement shall be determined by the computerized straight forecast return on the selections nominated to finish first and second, with the selection for third place discounted.
    • In the event that no CSF or BAGS/BEGS forecast is returned, bets shall be settled by reference to the N.S.L. Straight Forecast Chart
    • In the event that a Tricast includes a non-runner, the total stake shall be invested as a computerized straight forecast on the remaining two selections in the order selected.
    • In the event that a Tricast includes two non-runners, the wager will revert to a Win bet on the remaining selection in each combination.
    • In the event that no CSF or BAGS/BEGS forecast is returned, bets shall be settled by reference to the N.S.L. Straight Forecast Chart.
    • In the event of a selection finishing alone, a forecast dividend with any other runner will be declared.
    15.1.5.6 International Racing Exotics
    • Dividends in Hong Kong are guaranteed to exceed the payout declared by the official totalisator in Hong Kong.
    15.1.6 Best Odds Guaranteed. To win a maximum of GBP 500 per customer per race. Above this limit the balance of the stake will be paid at the original odds at which the bet was accepted.

    Eg. GBP 2,000 wager placed on horse at 5.00 that SP’s 6.00 will be laid GBP 500/100 and GBP 7,600/1,900.
    15.1.7 Payouts. Payout amounts (stake x odds) shall be rounded down to the lowest 5 pence.
    15.1.8 International Racing. For racing outside of the UK and Ireland, the rules of racing in the local jurisdiction will govern settlement and shall be used to resolve any settlement disputes.
    15.2 The following rules shall apply for Racing in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong & Singapore:
    15.2.1 Ante Post Betting is a bet placed on a horse race prior to final acceptances. Ante post bets are accepted on the basis of 'all in run or not', (unless otherwise stipulated), i.e. if a selection does not take part the bet is deemed a loser. Feature Doubles betting is 'all in run or not', even after final acceptances.

    15.2.4 Top Fluctuation Bet Conditions. Bets placed 45 minutes before the advertised start time are guaranteed to be paid the top official fluctuation odds bet by on-course bookmakers, with no commissions deducted from your winning bets. Saturdays and Public Holidays: To win AUD $12,000 per horse, per account (or group deemed to be acting on behalf of any one Individual or entity) at all Metropolitan meetings in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Weekdays and Sundays: To win AUD $8,000 per horse, per account (or group deemed to be acting on behalf of any one Individual or entity) across all Metropolitan meetings in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. All days: To win AUD $5,000 per horse, per account (or group deemed to be acting on behalf of any one Individual or entity) at Provincial meetings. Top Fluctuation is excluded from country meetings.     15.2.6 Race Horse Owners & Breeders Top Odds +10%. In order to qualify as an owner, your name must appear in the Race Book. In order to qualify as an Breeder, you must be the registered breeder. You must inform the operator at the time you place the bet that you are the owner or breeder, otherwise you will not be entitled to the owners & breeders privilege and will be paid at the morning Pre-post Fixed Price. Maximum bonus payment AUD $2,000.
    15.2.7 Race Horse Owners & Breeders 10% Rebate. All rebates are settled per quarter and are paid directly into your Canbet account. In order to qualify for the rebate you must have lodged your racehorse/s with Member Services, placed 25 individual wagers over a 3 month period, have backed your horse at least once during that period and your net winnings during the 3 month period must not exceed your net losses during that same period. Any rebate will be paid directly into your betting account by the 7th day following the quarter end.
    15.2.8 (a) Payouts at SuperPrice on Quinellas/Trifectas/Exactas/First Four: All exotic wagers (Quinellas, Exactas, Trifectas and First Four) are accepted at SuperPrice odds (click here to learn more about SuperPrice odds). In the event that the exact combination is unstruck with the relevant tote operator, resulting in a dividend being declared on a combination other than on the correct official finishing order, Canbet will declare a winning dividend based on the correct official finishing order only. Where races or bet types are covered by less than 3 Australian TABs the SuperPrice payout is guaranteed to exceed at least 1 Australian TAB.

    (b) Payouts at SuperPrice on Place: On Australian racing, a SuperPrice place dividend will be declared for all placegetters for which a dividend has been declared by at least one Australian TAB. When a place dividend is declared by at least one Australian TAB, losing place wagers will not be refunded.
    15.2.9 When a race programme for the day is abandoned or postponed, all bets placed on that programme (excluding Ante Post bets accepted prior to final field declaration) will be void and the stakes returned to the customer’s account.
    15.2.10 Jockey Challenge: Jockey Challenge is available on selected meetings. Win Only bets are accepted on an all-in basis. There will be no refunds of bets should a jockey be replaced by another rider. Dead heat rules apply. The winning jockey is decided on a 3, 2, 1 points scoring system. Dead heat rules apply. For example, dead heat for first, 2 ½ points allocated to each jockey and 1 point to third placed jockey. Bets stand provided at least one race has been conducted for the relevant Jockey Challenge.
    15.2.11 These limits include all winnings derived from wagers placed by the client on the individual event, regardless of whether the event is included as an element of a multiple, a group of multiples, or as a single wager. It is important to bear these limits in mind as we cannot be responsible for bringing them to your attention at the time the wager/s is/are placed.

    Without prior negotiation, the maximum win payable by Canbet to any one individual or entity, or group deemed to be acting on behalf of any one individual or entity, on any one race shall be limited to:

    15.2.12 A metropolitan meeting is deemed to be any meeting conducted by a metropolitan race club at a metropolitan venue. Meetings transferred from a non-metropolitan venue to a metropolitan venue and conducted by a non-metropolitan race club are deemed to be non-metropolitan meetings for the purposes of calculating the maximum net win payout.
    16. Rugby League
    16.1 Dead heat rules apply.
    16.2 Match betting includes Golden Point overtime. If no score occurs during this overtime, the result shall be settled as a draw and dead heat rules shall apply.
    16.3 Unless otherwise specified, points margin betting (i.e. 1-12, and 13+), game totals, and half time/full time doubles are paid at the end of normal time, and do not include Golden Point overtime.
    17. Rugby Union
    17.1 Unless otherwise stated, all rugby bets are settled on 80 minutes of play, and shall be settled at the end of regulation time. As such, extra time is not counted.
    17.2 Dead heat rules apply.
    18. Snooker
    18.1 A snooker match is deemed to have started with the break for the first frame.
    18.2 Should a player fail to start a tournament or match, all bets on that player, or individual match, shall be void.
    18.3 The following rules shall apply:
    18.3.1 Match Bets. In the event that a player withdraws or is disqualified, the player progressing to the next round shall be deemed the winner, providing that the match has commenced. In the event that the match has not commenced, all bets shall be void.
    18.3.2 Correct Frame Score. In Correct Frame Score betting, in the event that a match is not completed (i.e. the required number of frames to win has not been played), all bets shall be void.
    19. Soccer
    19.1 "Normal time" shall include 90 minutes of play plus any time added by match officials for stoppages, but shall exclude extra time, golden goals and penalty shootouts.
    19.2 Unless otherwise stated, all soccer bets shall be resulted based on the results after normal time.
    19.3 In the event that a match commences but is subsequently officially abandoned without full time (normal time plus injury time) being called by the match referee, all bets on that match shall be void, with the exception of bets whose outcome has already been decided at the time of abandonment. Where a soccer match is postponed to a later day, all bets on the match shall be void.
    19.4 In the event that a multi bet contains any leg voided under these rules, the leg shall be treated as a winner paying odds of 1.00.
    19.5 In the event that a subsequent official overruling by the relevant governing body concerning awarding of points and/or declaration of an official score occurs, this will only be considered for the purpose of the resulting of bets at the sole discretion of the Sportsbook.
    19.6 Date and kick-off times displayed are for guidance purposes only, and the Sportsbook makes no guarantees that this information is correct.
    19.7 The following rules shall apply:
    19.7.1 Half Time / Full Time Double. All bets shall be settled on the result at the end of the First Half, and the end of normal playing time.
    19.7.2 First Half Betting. All bets shall be settled on the result of the First Half of the match. In the event that a match is subsequently abandoned after half time, all bets shall stand.
    19.7.3 First/Last Player to score. In the event that a bet is placed on a player who does not take part in the match or enters the field of play after the first goal has been scored, the bet shall be void. Own goals shall not be counted unless otherwise specified.
    19.7.4 Total Corners. Player shall select the total number of corners taken during a match, and shall be settled on the result of normal time. In the event that a match is abandoned before full normal time has been played, all corner bets shall be void.
    19.7.5 Total Goals. In the event that a match is abandoned before full normal time has been played, all bets shall be void unless the result of the bet has already been determined.
    19.7.6 Total Goals for Groups of Matches. In the event that a match is abandoned before full normal time has been played, two (2) goals shall be given for a void or abandoned match. In the event that there is more than one void or abandoned match within the same market, all bets shall be void.
    19.7.7 Live 1x2 (Coupon) Betting. Bets placed on live 1x2 (Coupon) shall be settled on the match result at the end of normal paying time. This means that all goals scored in the match are revenant for the outcome of the bet.
    19.7.8 Live Asian Handicap Bets. Bets placed on live Asian Handicap shall be resulted on the remainder of the match. This means that any prior goals scored in the match are irrelevant for the outcome of the bet. All bets shall be settled on the goals (if any) scored after a bet is placed.
    19.7.9 Live Under/Over (Totals) Betting. Bets placed on live Under/Over number of goals, shall be resulted on the total number of goals scored in the match during normal time. This means that any prior goals scored in the match are included in the outcome of the bet.
    19.7.10 Draw No Bet. Winning bets must predict which team wins the match in Normal Time. In the event of a Draw, bets are void.
    19.7.11 Double Chance. Winning bets must predict the outcome of the match based on three selections - either the Home or Away team wins, the Home team wins or draws or the Away team wins or draws.
    20. Tennis
    20.1 A tennis match is deemed to have started with the first serve of the match.
    20.2 The following rules shall apply:
    20.2.1 Outright Betting. All bets shall be considered "all in". As such, no refunds will be given if a player withdraws.
    20.2.2 Match Ups. In the event of a match starting but not being completed, all match and set betting shall be void.
    20.2.3 Special Bets. All special markets shall be settled as per the statistics given on the official tournament website.
